Washer Dryers
A washer dryer is a combination of a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
They are more well suited to regular family washing, takes 5-6kg (10-12lbs) load
An external vent is not required (unlike many stand-alone tumble dryers), because to dry, moisture is pumped out through washer outlet pipes
They are id
eal when space is tight and offer better value than buying separate appliances.
Drying can be programmed to start immediately after end of wash cycle
However, there are a number of restrictions, which include:
- not able to dry a load and wash another at the same time
- normally only a half load can be dried at a time (2.5-3kg or 5-6lbs)
- drying mechanism not as effective, or energy efficient as a dedicated dryer
Remember, if buying on credit, you may not always get the best interest rate from the retailer.
Always shop around for loans, you will often save far more on the loan than you will save by haggling about the price of the product you are buying...
